In Alabama, this would affected Tallapoosa, Macon, Bullock, Covington, Crenshaw, and Butler counties.

Additionally, those taxpayers in areas not specifically designated as disaster areas who have difficulty filing on time due to weather-related circumstances connected to Hurricane Helene may be eligible for a waiver of late-filing and late-payment penalties.
