Derry City and Strabane District Council has bagged a significant investment to develop a dedicated boxing facility and multi-use three-court sports hall which will also accommodate gymnastics.
Communities Minister Gordon Lyons has welcomed the £1.8M National Lottery investment into the Melvin Sports Complex for the community across Strabane. “Thanks to this investment, the Melvin Sports Complex will become a community hub for sport, providing more opportunities for sports clubs, community groups, youth groups, schools and residents from across Strabane to participate in sport and physical activity.”
