The legendary quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who announced back on Feb. 1 that he was retiring, posted a message on Twitter and Instagram Sunday that said he is returning to the Buccaneers for his 23rd season.
“These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands,” Brady wrote. “That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG.”It was a stunning and unexpected announcement by the player many consider to be the greatest quarterback of all-time.
