One of those companies, Kathairos, is receiving $3.9 million to grow its emission reduction business to help eliminate greenhouse gas emissions from oil and gas well sites. Kathairos has devised a system to eliminate methane venting from oil and gas well sites by replacing the fuel gas used by the well sites with nitrogen.
