In case you missed it, the AMD Ryzen PRO 7040 Series Mobile processors were announced just last week. Here's a brief breakdown of what we can expect from the advanced Zen 4 architecture, RDNA 3 integrated graphics, and a dedicated Ryzen AI engine for premium Windows 11 business laptops.

According to AMD, the new Ryzen PRO 7040 Series is built on 4nm technology and increases performance and efficiency by 17% for business applications over the x86 competition. Also features Ryzen AI to enable a premium AI experience, this can serve IT managers to have the proper technology infrastructure to handle AI workloads.

On top of that, it also offers a new dedicated AI engine on select models, to help meet the demands of the AI transformation.

Further expanding its commercial lineup, AMD also announced the Ryzen PRO 7000 Series processors for desktops, featuring integrated Radeon graphics, up to 12 high-efficiency cores and up to 5.4 GHz boost to deliver leading performance for professional workloads.
