Shares of software firm Sage Group PLC SGE, +1.79% and diversified reits company Land Securities Group PLC LAND, +1.77% increased 1.79% and 1.77%, respectively.

The pound was down 0.53% against dollar GBPUSD, -0.52% at $1.2499 and 0.45% against the euro GBPEUR, -0.45% at €1.1666.
