An Adelaide man has slammed Singapore Airlines, saying the company has not contacted him since he and his wife were injured on its ill-fated flight from London to Singapore on Tuesday. The Boeing 777-300ER suddenly and sharply plummeted 2000m in three minutes when it hit what is believed to be an air pocket while the cabin crew were serving breakfast. The pilot requested an emergency landing at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport at 3.35pm.

“Some of the other patients in this Bangkok hospital include those with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries too in what was one of the worst incidents of turbulence in aviation history. “You can only imagine how frightening it would be to think about getting on a plane after something like that.” The list of horrific injuries passengers sustained is becoming clearer with several passengers already undergoing spinal surgery, according to the latest AAP report.
