The Badcock Home Furniture & More in Boiling Springs, South Carolina, has been forced to close its doors, according to its owner. - Badcock Home Furniture & More, a retailer with stores throughout the southern U.S., said it’s closing all stores.The closures are linked to the bankruptcy of its parent company, Conn’s, the Texas-based furniture retailer that bought Badcock last year.

According to its bankruptcy filing, Conn’s anticipates closing all locations of its Badcock and Conn’s stores, which employs about 3,800 full-time employees and 150 part-time employees.
