Police said they responded at 2 a.m. to Edgewood Avenue North, near West Beaver Street, after getting reports of a shooting.When they arrived, officers found a man inside a business suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.According to JSO, early investigation shows that two masked and armed individuals entered the business and shot the security guard inside that business.No arrests have been made. JSO detectives are going through video surveillance footage and other evidence.

Police said they believe the shooting was targeted toward the business or the security guard. But they do not know the circumstances surrounding the incident.Marcela joined News4JAX in 2023.
