Macbeth is one of Shakespeare's most famous plays, with countless productions and adaptations dominating stage and the silver screen. The dramatic play chronicles greed, ambition and more. Now, Sh!t-faced Shakespeare is embarking on a UK tour but with a twist. The company will perform Macbeth with a rotating cast, but one member will be completely inebriated each night - the very essence of Sh!t-faced Shakespeare. The company's unique interpretation of the classic will see them treading the boards of the Epstein Theatre on October 1.

Sh!t-faced Shakespeare presents: Macbeth aims to offer a faithful adaptation of the play but complete with one worse-for-wear cast member. Every night before the show, an actor is given four hours to "wet the whistle". Audiences can expect to see wasted witches, boozy best friends, hammered hell-hounds, unhinged wives and more. The national tour kicked off on September 23 and will conclude on November 26. You can book tickets for Shit-faced Shakespeare's Macbeth in Liverpool here.
