Meng Chao, another COVID testing kit production line worker, told the ABC that until the pandemic he had been a real estate agent.

"The pressure was big if I couldn't find a temporary job, so I joined when I saw the pharmaceutical factory opened and promised a good salary."Most testing booths were removed from street corners in early December.
