Leanne Prescott originally created her Cake Corner business on Instagram but enjoyed so much success she was able to open up in Southport. She then claimed a location at the revamped and modernised Southport Market.
"I've got two of my best friends from school working for me and I couldn't do it without them. We have about 16 people working here now but some are at university as well." Due to her football commitments, baking was once a hobby - but now Cake Corner is a thriving business, with big things coming in the next 12 months. She said: "I never saw this coming.
