Home Affairs Minister Clare O’Neil is working on business-friendly solutions to critical worker shortages, such as making it easier for multinationals to bring in overseas executives, but concedes fixes to the broken migration system are a way off.

Former prime minister and cabinet secretary, Dr Martin Parkinson, is expected to finalise advice of his review group in the next few weeks. “One of the other big picture problems in this system is that we’re not allocating regulatory burden risk wisely,” Ms O’Neil said.

Wish he was my boss more so for the care factor. Wow yet emergency services workers have to fight for 2% Then put up his prices to cover the cost which in turn adds time inflation which in turn adds to more interest rate rises. Here in the problem lies. What needs to be done is lower wages will lower prices which will lower inflation and ease the cost of living
