Led by outgoing state police chief Comm Datuk Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain, the visit was in appreciation of the public’s cooperation with the police force.
Comm Mohd Shuhaily is set to be appointed the new Kuala Lumpur police chief, replacing Comm Datuk Azmi Abu Kassim, who has been promoted to Bukit Aman management department director. Joining the police on the walkabout were Jelutong MP RSN Rayer, Batu Lanchang assemblyman Ong Ah Teong, Sungai Pinang assemblyman Lim Siew Khim and high-ranking officers of the state police department.
