Senator calls for inquiry into agreements between social media companies and fact-checkers

Liberal Senator Alex Antic has called for an inquiry into the financial arrangements between social media companies, fact-checkers and academic institutions. “I think a lot of the problem here is that this is going unnoticed, people have historically put a lot of faith in experts, in academia, in their government regulatory departments,” he told Sky News Australia.
