Arc of Wayne celebrates new local business highlighting Erie Canal

The Erie Shore Canal Shoppe brings in items from other local businesses, and provides employment opportunities to those served by the Arc of Wayne. Newark, N.Y. — There's a new place to discover the rich history of New York state, with the grand opening of the Erie Canal Shoppe.

"It's almost like a job training site," said Arc of Wayne CEO David Calhoun. "People can acquire retail skills, customer service skills."
