Just yesterday, it was reported that a Muslim eatery owner had received threats of boycott after it was discovered that she had been feeding stray dogs. Well,

in a turn of events, her business has never been busier!

Bukit Bendera MP Syerleena Abdul Rashid was among those who highlighted that the restaurant owner should be praised for her kind actions of feeding stray dogs rather than condemned and boycotted.

“This sister’s husband was busy chatting with each table . He said that since 11:30am, people kept pouring in like schools of fish. Among the customers, 99% were Chinese, which was unprecedented. He felt it was weird and asked a few customers about this. They showed him posts from Facebook and said that they came to support them. He said that they were very moved by this.”Due to the influx of customers, their menu items sold out fast, leaving the eatery’s kitchen without ingredients by 2pm.
