These offer food and drinks and handcrafted gifts, and there also activities such as the helter-skelter, giant snow globe and Santa's magical grotto. The opening hours are Monday – Wednesday 10am – 8pm, Thursday – Saturday 10am – 10pm, and Sunday 12noon – 6pm.

With international and local traders in the annually built festive village, the event offers something for everyone and is one of the most diverse markets in the UK.
