Govt to act against companies selling unapproved child car seats, says Loke

THE Transport Ministry is working with the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry to monitor and ensure child restraint seats in the market meets safety standards. Transport Minister Anthony Loke said action will be taken under the Consumer Protection Act and the Trade Description Act against companies that are found to have supplied CRS which do not meet the requirements.
