Not so smart after all: The AI hype is fading

P.S. I just left an 'AI' financial startup. Their 'AI' was a hashmap. No joke. If AI is just a selling point, then you won't get the benefits.

AI has never lived up to hype.

AI is a mechanism capturing frequently occurred patterns of data distribution. It is powerful for analyzing patterned data and relationships, such as medical diagnosis, but not for creativity such as fine art and music. It would be an infrastructure useful for our life in future.

It’s not magic if that’s what you’re expecting 🙄🙄 whoever told you it is was simply after your bag of 💰 It takes years to train an AI. It *will* help you prepare for the next global crisis, don’t expect AI miracles this minute
