U.S. President Donald Trump looks on Chinese President Xi Jinping during the plenary session at the G20 Summit on July 7, 2017 in Hamburg, Germany.Washington and Beijing are waging a battle to limit each's media presence in the other's country, revoking journalist visas.American corporations must demand that the Trump administration end to its tit-for-tat duel over the visas. This is an opinion column. The thoughts expressed are those of the author.

Profitable companies and functional markets require transparency and free-flowing information, and the visa battle is hurting American interests far more than Chinese ones.
