Fashion leaders have said they will improve diversity in their ranks, but how will they know they’ve succeeded, asks Robin Givhan

A brand will quota to the point that it doesn't adversly effect sales. A customer base will react to race/gender/age/sexuality/beauty varyingly depending on the brand. Victoria's Secret went for diversity, and pulled a Gerald Ratner...
