PETALING JAYA: Two directors of a company and six of its workers have been detained by police over the recent odour pollution in Sungai Selangor which led to 1,292 areas going without water for a few days.

The source of the pollution is believed to be the company which repairs and sells construction machinery.“Investigations are being conducted under Section 430 of the Penal Code,” he said in a statement today.
