SHAH ALAM: Four company directors will face charges over the Kundang River pollution.

Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Fadzil Ahmat said three men and a woman will face charges on Monday .

"The four are also expected to be charged with hiring foreign workers without valid permits under Section 55E of the Immigration Act 1959/63," he said. Among those arrested in the raid on Monday were the factory's manager, two local men and eight foreign workers.

The authorities should build a containing pond from industrial sites before entering the river if shiting are impossible. These companies have to pay for the building and maintenance of the sawage pond where waste are filtered and safe before allowing to go into the river.
