He said enforcing strict movement curbs like those seen under the first movement control order could lead to a million jobless, with already low-income earners likely to be the biggest casualties. “The average household has four members, which means up to four million more dependents could be affected if people lose their jobs,” he told a press conference held online just minutes after the National Security Council announced tighter restrictions for the current MCO.
It means that the govt has given a target that must be certain number of death of COVID maybe in ten of thousands before bringing in strict measures

Losing 1 million jobs is better than losing 1 million Malaysians, dying from the Covid-19 pandemic. Enforcing half baked MCO 3.0, like 80% civil servants work from home, while 60% private sector employees work in offices, isn't going to bring the Covid-19 pandemic down.
Spend on vaccine rather MCO handouts is the way forward. Cases will spike after lifting of MCOs
