IPOH: Vaccines procured by the state under Majuperak Holdings Bhd are meant for private company workers and not the general public, says Datuk Saarani Mohamad.

The Perak Mentri Besar said under the SilverVax programme, the vaccine will be sold to any company that wants to immunise their employees after getting feedback from various industries.

"When the Federal Government allowed some seven million doses to be sold, we took the opportunity to accept the offer," he said during a virtual press conference on Wednesday . "It is complementary . Anyone who wants to get it quickly can buy it. No one is forced to buy," he added.
