KUALA LUMPUR: The Sessions Court here was told that former Penang Chief minister Lim Guan Eng asked for 10% of the profits made by Consortium Zenith Beijing Urban Construction Group (CZBUCG) from the undersea tunnel project.

Reading out his witness statement in court on Friday , Consortium Zenith owner Datuk Zarul Ahmad Mohd Zulkifli, 62, the 23rd prosecution witness, said he was shocked to hear the words coming from Lim due to his anti-corruption stance.

“From what I understood, the 10% would be from the profits my company made that I would have to give Lim for awarding the project to us.
