PETALING JAYA: Several agencies under the Transport Ministry, as well as those affiliated with the transport or logistics industry, are contributing to relief efforts made necessary by the recent floods.

In a statement on Tuesday , the Ministry said these agencies have activated various flood relief efforts to help those affected by the floods, which include staff and also members of the public.

– RM2,000 in flash funds raised to provide essential food and personal care items for flood victims in Sri Muda.– About 150 flood victims provided shelter at Padang Jawa station, mostly from Kg Padang Jawa, Shah Alam. – Fundraising donations for purchasing of aid items for flood victims to bolster Transport Ministry efforts and other agencies.Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd and CCC-ECRL Sdn Bhd
