The Niger Police Command has confirmed the killing of one Hassan Shehu, a businessman at the Minna Kure market at Tudun-Fulani area of Bosso Local

The deceased aged 28 years was said to have been stabbed in the neck, from where he bled to death before help could reach him on Wednesday.

The lifeless body of Shehu was then recovered from the area, following a distress call to the police. He stated that the deceased met his death, when he was invited to Tudun-Fulani by one Bashir, presently at large, to sell some gold items. He said police operatives attached to Bosso Division were drafted to the scene and discovered the body.
