Joe Biden has been roasted by the US oil industry over his tweet demanding companies running gas stations immediately bring down prices at the pump, says Sky News host Rowan Dean.

The US Oil & Gas Association responded to President Biden’s tweet saying “we’re working on it” before suggesting the “WH intern” in charge of POTUS’ Twitter account take a refresher course in basic economics.

I live in a town that's a popular tourist destination. The price of gasoline is 20 cents cheaper just 27 miles away in the neighboring town. There is some validity to what the President is saying. Price gouging is a thing!

lawyer4laws Joe thinks he can just demand and his subjects will comply.

Silly old fool.

Just changing to evs won’t solve the immediate problem, obviously old joe has no idea

Rowan Dean 🤣🤣🤣 Go read his CV, it’s 300 pages, all blank, not 1 achievement in his career 🙄🙄🙄

Backing big oil against average citizens is a pretty elitist take
