An arts festival which will focus on repurposing, reusing and recycling materials will take place on Saturday, 23rd July at Preston Flag Market.

Making A Mark is encouraging visitors to join in the free activities, which are suitable for all ages and abilities, to have fun and be creative.

Take a clean, empty plastic bottle and make a shaker with the materials provided, under guidance from samba bandleader Jon, then join in with the always popular Worldwise Samba Drummers as they perform and then parade through Preston city centre . All welcome Pencils and paper are provided, with a few easels and seats for those who arrive early, or you can bring your own. Last year this activity won the People’s Choice award it was so popular.
