Earlier today, Sinky Mnisi revisited the issue regarding Kaizer Chiefs’ acquisition of Dillan Solomons, claiming that Amakhosi still have to pay Royal AM for the player’s services. SLSiya Read more:

The matter was understood to have been put to bed when Solomons was announced as a Chiefs player on a four-year contract, signing from Swallows FC.

Solomons was understood to have been part of an agreement between Swallows and Royal AM, however, the player’s agent Grant Nieuwenhuys subsequently, stating that the player had no part in the said agreement, which opened the door for his move to Chiefs. However, on Wednesday during his press conference, Mnisi, who revealed he remains Royal AM CEO despite media claims that he has vacated the post, turned to the situation once more, stating that Chiefs need to pay the KZN outfit for the player.

“That chapter is closed. Between Chiefs and the President of Royal AM and Swallows, they must just pay what Royal AM needs,” Mnisi told journalists. “The player has signed for Chiefs, but Chiefs must buy the player, not from Swallows – but from Royal AM, it’s as simple as that. I think those processes are unfolding,” he added.
