The three top Twitter executives whom Elon Musk fired Thursday will walk out the door with about $187 million of Musk’s money

. Former CEO Parag Agrawal, former CFO Ned Segal and former Chief Legal Officer Vijaya Gadde were ousted after Musk took control of the company late Thursday, according to a source familiar with the situation. They would have received a large chunk of that money even if they had stayed on board under the new ownership – they and other shareholders will receive payouts from Musk after he bought their shares for $54.20 each.

But they also receive “Golden Parachute Compensation” in the merger agreement approved by shareholders. That includes a year’s base pay – $1 million for Agrawal and $600,000 each for Segal and Gadde. They also will get a year of health insurance, worth about $73,000 among the three. The most lucrative part by far is the accelerated vesting of stock they stood to receive in the future but had not yet qualified for. That will end up being worth $56.4 million for Agrawal, $43.

I thought the left hated the rich... You all can die mad, we don't care.

They will create a new platform -- I have no doubt with all these years experience it would be much better than twitter

Best deal ever! Worth every dollar.

Why CNN is repeatedly mentioning it? Is it like Elon didn’t know this already?

Not a bad payday if you can get it.

Worth it

An opportunity for India to hire those fired and start a secure online equivalent if not better version of twitter for 1.4 billion Indians.

Cash I Hope - not Bitcoin

Worth it to can their asses

Really hard to feel sorry for them as CNN would like..

Peanuts to a billionaire

I agree with Elon Musk. He gave the company a chance not to take the deal but they went to court. Hell if I could - I would pay them a penny. Then again it’s me

Is that a triumph?, so crime does pay, censure does pay…… what a role model, but then again is CNN

That's chump change for Elon and his backers.

Good for them!

He really showed them.

Freedom's price is worth it.

Elon makes twice that amount in a day.

That's tip money for Elon.

Not bad

If elon unban trump , its gonna a lots of profits

$187 Mill. That's a tip for Elon!

the truth is Elon is going to make more than that. once the right steps are put in track d business part of the platform will be activated

Thanks Elon Musk for sacrificing your money. It's for the greater good of mankind

good atleast they can start a new life

Elon seems to be a very fair guy if the twitter ex's were paid that handsomely.

187 Murder Death Killed.

To Elon Musk it was worth every cent. It must be nice to be the king?

Good news

The headlines should read : Three executives win the lottery after being fired, the largest payout in recorded history. elonmusk elonmusktwitter ELONMUSK

Pero ya les hecho, eso es lo importante 👍🏾

Well even if you got to pay to get rid of a headache it’s worth it

They got shafted lmao

Peanuts

Im guessing his lawyers will be paid millions too

I pray we get free speech again! So worth the millions paid to get the trash out!

Not very much when you think including the purchase price it adds up to $44.18billion

Shouldn't the story be about WHY he fired them, and not how much money they get?

Con acuerdo de confidencialidad incluído supongo

paid millions to NOT work w musk sounds like a dream!!

And who owns Elon ?

They can just start a new platform

I would’ve volunteered to be fired 🤣

Sounds like happy landing.

Y una vida para avergonzarse

Anyone who owned Twitter stock got paid too.

And a lifetime of shame.
