More than half of Twitter’s top 1,000 advertisers in September were no longer spending on the platform in the first weeks of January, according to data provided to CNN by a digital marketing analysis firm

More than half of Twitter’s top 1,000 advertisers in September were no longer spending on the platform in the first weeks of January, according to data provided to CNN by digital marketing analysis firm Pathmatics, in a striking sign of how far reaching the advertiser exodus has been following Elon Musk’s acquisition of the company.

Salesforce and Apple, the latter of which Musk briefly and publicly feuded with for allegedly threatening to block Twitter from its app store. Salesforce and Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Musk said in a \n \n tweet earlier this month that the previous three months had been “extremely tough, as had to save Twitter from bankruptcy,” but that the company “is now trending to breakeven if we keep at it.”

The communist chinese party simply loves twitter. They go about freely posting misinformation and lies without any consequence. All while this platform is banned in china

What about the second week of January

Anon_Lobo If Twitter's remaining advertisers read Elmo's tweets about the 'Woke Stasi' in addition to a whole lot of other crazy, they'll run screaming from anything he touches. Hope our government is considering the same.

Well.....they went somewhere, not like those 1000 advertisers don't still need ear canals and optic nerves to shove their wares down...

Why would advertisers give money to Elon Musk after Musk spreads homophobic misinformation and lies about Paul Pelosi on Twitter?

His company is still worth more than cnn your company has to talk to Charles Barkley to do the news to get better ratings. THATS PATHETIC

travis_view Looking forward to the trustee’s sale and new management

This is my surprised face.

That's because he let that useless bimbo Trump back on

Like CNN were all owned by usa military industrial complex Wikipedia 🤔 . Musk stoped it but he's still owned .but more by rule republicans

elonmusk

Of all the outlets to pick this fight... Hows that 'plus' thing coming along over there at CNN? Wait, what? 🤣😂😆😂🤣😂😆😂🤣😂😆

For the better. Look what those companies represent

Yet Twitter thrives while CNN drops ever further in viewership

Lol and still making money

CNN just plain sucks any more

ElonMusk is this true?

Leftist filth!

Fake news. Don’t like free speech. Haha

Será por qué le está dando en la mdre a la red social que funcionaba bien antes de que la comprara? 🤔🤔🤔

If anyone knows about losing revenue guys, its CNN

How about now? Bias news is a fake news.

Whatever sourpuss CNN. You are afraid that more are on Twitter than your propaganda channels. BTW, Twitter is almost expected to break even and it’s only 4 months. I now see ads from Apple, Amazon, Home Depot, WSJ, WaPo, MGM……

You hate to see it

A switch happening? Nice 👍

Too bad, but my Tesla stocks have risen 178.00 a share in the past month! 🙂

Is this relevant news!

Glad these anti-free speech companies are leaving.

Come to think on it, I haven’t seen a single ad on here
