Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona and Yavapai Regional Medical Center could not come to a contract agreement, meaning at least 11,000 members are left with out-of-network care for many services.

A spokesperson said through email that the move does not affect all their members and emergency care, even at Yavapai Regional Medical Center, is still covered at in-network rates. After February 8, if your plan uses one of the following networks, Yavapai Regional Medical Center hospital facilities and their hospital-based physician group will be considered out of network.

In or out of network is a false narrative pertaining to emergency medical care. It just is not an issue. In network only applies to planned, pre-scheduled medical care. The narrative in or out of network is just a trick, a lure and no one of should bite on it anymore-EMERGENCY

Well thats because BCBS are a bunch of bougie capatalists..I work in health insurance I should know..bcbs sucks

doctors should go private with no insurance but acceptable prices for people who don't want insurance anymore! like some countries in Europe!

BUT COVID19 CDC REPORTED DEATHS WENDSDAY

BCBS is an awful, money hungry org. They don’t give AF about healthcare. All they want is money money money or they tell you to kick rocks. Every hospital, clinic, urgent care, etc need to drop BCBS and refuse to work with them.
