What is the taxpayer paying for?

Fix the railways.

She doesn't seem to know how things work. We pay taxes, you take those taxes and use them to maintain and deliver infrastructure and services. We would be happy to fix everything ourselves, but then we can't be expected to pay taxes

The audacity of these people Now people living like rockstars ON OTHER PEOPLES MONEY, telling those they steal from, they must spend more if they want to live better This theif can pay to repair every pothole in Africa himself with all the money he has stolen

You will be noticed and stands a good chance to get work with us in future.

Is he not having a budget or they wanna side step the 10℅ into kitty bag...🇿🇦💰

Doesn't this muppet know that for every litre of fuel for cars, there is a percentage of cost allocated for road maintenance and repairs?. In essence, it is the ruling party's constitutional mandate as a collector of revenue to sort out the mess in our roads.

FFS 🤬

A criminal mind.

Saw roads being fixed in Sunninghill, keep working for the people MMC

Transport Minister promised to fix potholes nationwide.

Now private business must help fund repairing of potholes? What next? What are me paying all these fees and taxes for?

And our taxes ?

Pure example of the symbiosis between politics and business, the former needs business to perform to its utmost best so that it has a good story to tell to voters and the latter needs politics to create an environment in which capital can thrive & grow

Will they give the companies tax rebates if they do his job for him..?

U joking right? Companies that pay rates must now also pay to fix pot holes at their expense all whilst u pocket their money To his man is crazy

Wow! New broom sweeps clean with a twist. Converse of which an entire city which collects driver's licence and motor vehicle permit money - goes to the very people paying such money with cap in hand: begging them to fix potholes.

What a thought.......City of Joburg policy unit response ?

Why do we pay rates again.
