The food packs containing fried rice, dessert, mineral water and bubur lambuk were sponsored by well-wishers.

Taman Tun Dr Ismail At-Taqwa Mosque imam Hamzah Hussin, 38, and three volunteers handed out food packs as a gesture of goodwill.

Baba’s marketing head Azrain Mohamad, 44, said the porridge was cooked within the At-Taqwa Mosque compound by a team of 30 volunteers so that commuters could get their bubur lambuk fresh. “Among the Baba’s spices used are kurma mix, powdered fennel, white pepper, cumin and black pepper powder.“Those who want to cook it at home can find the recipe on Baba’s Facebook page,” said Mohamad Hafiz.
