The acquisition of SungardAS is the eighth by the business since 2020 and follows a recent announcement of 50 new jobs

The Dublin-based telecoms and IT services provider has forecast revenue of €90 million for the year following the acquisition which is the latest in a recent flurry of activity in the Irish tech sector.

Last month Irish start-ups Zipp Mobility and Workvivo were snapped up by Zeus Scooters and Zoom respectively while Nostra acquired Passax, a Galway-based business, as part of its ongoing acquisition plans while CWSI announced plans for at least two further acquisitions in the coming two years.
