The multi-lane fast flow (MLFF) toll payment system is expected to be implemented in 2025, though the public works minister hopes it can be implemented sooner by the end of next year.

This system is still in the process of consultation with the highway concession companies, the minister said. “Various other related matters need to be refined because it involves many concession companies as well as legislation, regulation, preparation to develop the system and the technology involved,” he said in a Radio Televisyen Malaysia interview.
