Senator Christopher “Bong” Go commended the local government for the soft opening of the Dauin Mega Market on Thursday, August 17.

He also highlighted the significance of the free Wifi switch-on, stating, “What we see here is more than a place to buy and sell goods. The Dauin Mega Market is a community hub that can create opportunities for its people.” The inauguration was attended by the town officials of Dauin headed by Mayor Galicano Truita, along with the Executive Director of the Negros Oriental Tourism Council Woodrow Maquiling, Jr., who represented Go during the event, and Philippine National Police Provincial Director PCol. Ronan Claravall.
