Some bond investors saw buying opportunity in the benchmark yield’s 16-year high

Investors have been waiting for the right moment to jump back in the frigid bond market. On Monday, some of them took the plunge.

A monthslong bond selloff helped push the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield above 5% on Monday morning for the first time since 2007.
