SEOUL : Asiana Airlines plans to convene a board meeting again on Thursday, after it failed to decide in an earlier meeting whether to accept Korean Air's proposal to sell its cargo operations, Yonhap reported on Tuesday.

Korean Air planned to submit the proposal to the European Commission by the end of October to gain EU antitrust approval to acquire Asiana, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters earlier this month.

Yonhap said that since Asiana's board had dragged out its decision, Korean Air's submission to the EC would be delayed. We know it's a hassle to switch browsers but we want your experience with CNA to be fast, secure and the best it can possibly be.
