PASIR GUDANG: Police have arrested a former agent of a water filter company here on suspicion of being involved in several cheating cases.

Seri Alam OCPD Supt Ismail Dollah said the 29-year-old suspect was arrested on Thursday at around 6pm following a public tip-off.

“Investigations show that the suspect entered his victims’ homes by claiming to be an agent who wanted to inspect, clean and change the water filter. Supt Ismail said upon receiving payment, the suspect would promise to return to instal the new filter but would not show up again.
