The company also reported an almost 30% decrease in net income for the second quarter compared to a year ago. Shares of major airline stocks American Airlines and United Airlines also fell around 4.7% and 3.7%, respectively, following the results.

The company also posted soft guidance and called for annual organic net sales to come in 1.5% lower to flat as compared to last year. Conagra also forecast adjusted earnings for the full year that missed Street expectations.
