ZCC gospel artists accuse the SAMAs of discrimination

The ZCC artists say it is sad that the legends that have paved the way for such a big genre, but never had the opportunity to be recognised for their contribution to the industry.

“We have suffered a lot and we cannot allow the situation to continue. We are deciding to stand together and fight this now.” They claim the first time Nkosana was ever mentioned by the RiSA and his name made to the SAMA event was when they sent condolences to his family and paid tribute to him in 2014, a few months after he had passed on.

I might be wrong but I have noticed the singer Winnie Mashaba changing her style of singing to accommodate the 'more acceptable way of singing gospel' by SAMAs... Most ppl love the music of these singers but it will never be recognized. Metro fm on Sundays never plays such

Zcc music and their atists grew so much that the SAMMA's still fail to recognise such, it's ain't a complain but a concern...

that's why even SABC radio stations like Thobela FM gives a pastor a slot on the middle of Hlokwa la tsela on Sunday morning

Discrimation really👀👀

Can't they just continue with spreading the word of God and stop worrying about stupid awards?

Hee this country
