Zuma was charged under Rule 25 of the ANC constitution after endorsing the MK Party in May's polls.

Supporter of former African National Congress President Jacob Zuma, Bishop S.I. Ndlela who is from the United Methodist Church in KwaZulu-Natal says he is shocked that Zuma has been hurled before the party’s National Disciplinary Committee .

Zuma has been charged under Rule 25 of the ANC constitution after endorsing the uMkhonto weSizwe Party by encouraging the electorate to vote for the party in the 2024 elections. He says, “We are shocked because we don’t understand why they are calling for a disciplinary committee because already they’ve manipulated Jacob Zuma several times, put him in jail…so we are surprised why they call Zuma to this disciplinary committee but we are here to support Jacob Zuma.

MK Party Deputy Coordinator in Gauteng, Gama Mazibuko, says Zuma should have been allowed to present himself physically before the NDC. Mazibuko says, “Our President is always a people’s person. He believes in warm bodies when he deals with matters. So he wanted to be there in person and look at people he’s dealing with. But anyway I cannot say much let’s let the process unfold and we’ll take it from there.” Any cookies that may not be particularly necessary for the website to function and is used specifically to collect user personal data via analytics, ads, other embedded contents are termed as non-necessary cookies.
