Former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne has shared her concerns about the music industry in the wake of Laim Payne's tragic death this week.

The band very quickly became one of the biggest boybands in the world and with millions of fans tributes continue to pour in for the 31-year-old singer-songwriter - with Sharon being one of the latest celebrities to comment. Liam previously said he struggled with alcoholism at the peak of his success, describing hitting "rock bottom" to The Diary Of A CEO podcast host Steven Bartlett. He admitted his addiction to alcohol continued during the Covid pandemic, but in 2023 he posted a YouTube video confirming he was almost six months sober after nearly 100 days in a US rehab facility.

Liam's One Direction bandmates have said they are "completely devastated" by the news of his death, adding: "The memories we shared with him will be treasured forever."
