A Wolverhampton business clothing wholesaler is set to expand its operations after taking on new premises in Telford.

Racecourse Road based Absolute Apparel, a leading clothing wholesaler to the garment decorating industry, has completed its purchase of a 93,000 square foot unit on Halesfield 14, which the company says will cater to the firm's"growing capacity".

The property, formerly occupied by sachet food firm Portion Solutions, provides a detached three bay industrial premises incorporating a warehouse and offices with internal eaves stretching to 6m in height. “We are very happy to have purchased this site in Telford, as our current Wolverhampton facility isn’t large enough to cope with our growing capacity," said Frank Jheinga, Managing Director at Absolute Apparel.

"With the two sites we will now have over 240,000 sqft available, allowing us to store approximately 15,000 pallets at any time.” Richard Bradbury from Shropshire based commercial property agents Bulleys Bradbury said the site is"well placed" on the Halesfield Industrial Estate for easy access to the M54 via the A442 Dual Carriageway."Acting for the tenant, Portion Solutions, we arranged a surrender of their lease and simultaneous sale to Absolute Apparel, who propose to commence trading at the property shortly following the completion of refurbishment works".
