Amazon's cloud boss mocked IBM and Oracle at its big conference with a clever picture showing Amazon Prime shipping boxes

At the AWS re:Invent conference in Las Vegas, Jassy spoke about updating these applications as he presented a slide showing a moving truck in front of a house. The moving truck was filled with several Amazon Prime boxes.

Meanwhile, in the driveway in front of the house, there were several boxes and objects left behind – including a box labeled with Oracle's logo and an IBM mainframe. "When you're going to move, you have to decide what will you bring and what will you leave behind," Jassy said onstage.Jassy said that this is what companies have been asking about their on-premise data centers for years. He also said that many companies today still use mainframe computers, but "people don't want to use mainframes.
