Berry, who starred in “Monster's Ball” and “Die Another Day” and was the first African-American to win the best actress Oscar, also became an equity owner and investor in the company, which specializes in metabolic and gut health treatments. In her new role, Berry will serve as a"brand evangelist" and collaborate with other executives in"future product development and innovation."
Pendulums CEO Colleen Cutcliffe says Berry reached out to the company after being a customer for around a year with an offer to invest, before being offered an executive position.
